A Simple Solution to Growing Your Business

January 8th, 2010

As a business owner you know it’s important to spend a good chunk of your time planning and growing your business. Much of that time is also spent collecting and reviewing information from various industry experts.

In fact, each particular aspect of internet marketing and entrepreneurship has experts whom we turn to for advice. This expert advice and information is valuable and is used to help you plan and grow your business. And when you find a reputable, successful, credible and easy to understand expert it just makes good sense to learn from them.

Think about your own business and your own collection of expert advice. You probably have specific experts or websites you turn to for:

Copywriting

List builing & email marketing

Resell rights & private label right products

Product creation

Mindset

Technology & software

Content writing

Teleseminars and webinars

Marketing blueprints and templates

Traffic generation

Affiliate marketing

And more.

Trying to keep up with all this content poses a problem, actually it poses several problems.

The first and maybe the biggest problem is that you have to keep track of all of this content. Most of the time this means organizing the PDFs, audio and video files you download into labeled files on your desktop. This of course is bulky and by the time you get around to reading it, the information is outdated. You’ve wasted your time and potentially your money.

If you actually took the time to read all of the content you download from your chosen experts you’d spend weeks just reading and not really getting much else done. While there’s a lot to say for getting an education online, you’re a business person and your time is money

You need faster, easier access to all of the most recent information.

The Simpler Solution Is a Membership Site.

A membership site makes it significantly easier to stay on top of the most recent changes, trends, and information in your industry and in the world of internet marketing. Internet marketing changes quickly as technology changes, customers’ needs change and marketing techniques and strategies change.

A membership site beats a static e-book or even a multi-media course, because it is a living entity, which grows as you do. Membership site owners, if it’s a quality site, are always adding fresh material, as better ways and new techniques evolve.

And when it comes to buying resell products, to sell, giveaway and/or promote for affiliate income, it makes much more sense to belong to a membership site where you know the content isn’t being distributed to thousands of people and you know the products are quality products.

So this makes the content overload problem a bit simpler, right?

Now, instead of downloading tons and tons of content to put in the “To read soon” file on your computer, all you have to do is schedule time during your week to visit your membership site and see what’s new. Many membership sites also have an RSS feed and are great about keeping you up to date on all the new information being added to the site.

Or better yet, if you’re planning your business, as you should be on a regular basis, and you’re working on say your product launch plan for the next couple of months, you can simply go to the membership site that focuses on product launching techniques and strategies and use the most recent and up to date information to help you plan.

But there’s still a potential problem.

Too many membership sites can also be overwhelming not just because you have to remember all of your membership sites and log-on information but perhaps more importantly all those membership fees really add up.

It’s like belonging to ten different gyms. One for weight lifting, one for swimming, one for yoga, one for cycling and so on. Sure you’re getting the best of the best information but you’re also spending a ton of cash on all of those memberships.

A Simple Solution

A simple solution has been found. It’s a single entry point that accesses the best of all the membership sites online and groups them into one single membership. The benefits, beyond not having to keep track of all of the membership sites you belong to and their corresponding log-in information is the fact that it’s just plain cost effective.

This simple solution means you can access copywriting experts, product creation experts, access resell rights products, utilize cutting edge software, find blueprints, templates and everything else you need to build a successful internet business all on one membership site.

To learn more about how you can grow your business with this simple solution to expert content overload and how you can access the best membership sites from one single privileged membership, Visit http://www.privilegedmemberships.com/rep/mrude2009.html

Is Video On Your Blog?

January 8th, 2010

Videoblogging is the next generation of showing your products and services over the internet.
Now you can use videos as a better way to advertise. This form of communication may need a lot of resources, but it is all worth it. If pictures say a thousand words, video on your blog is a far better way to show your product or service.

A video requires larger disk spaces on websites, a faster server, and a whole new set of programs to support it. Video can be fed through RSS. This is the technology of sharing your website to other RSS aggregators.

Videoblogging works with people on the internet expressing themselves. Now if you put this on a business prospective, there are a lot of benefits. It is a powerful tool for showing your prospective customers your line of products or your services. It’s just like showing a commercial all for free. And if you videoblog through RSS, then most probably you are getting your target market.

People like to see what they are going to buy. All of us know the influence of a thirty second commercial. The effect of videoblogging is similar to that. You show your product, people watch it. If they like it, they buy it. If presented well enough, they”ll buy the product even if they don’t need it.

Now on the web, things are pretty much at a standstill, unlike in television. If you post something that is mobile, it would almost certainly catch attention. Now imagine your product showing in all it’s glory in a videoblog. You”d get orders in no time.

If your business is just starting up, you can create a video at home. All you need is your camera, microphone, video software, and lights. And as long as you know how to use your camera, you can create a video to upload to your blog.

Invest in a good web camera. The higher its resolution is the better. And present your goods in the best possible way. Make a short story, Just make sure you are getting the best profile for your product. Get those creative juices flowing.

Lights are important in a production. Make sure you illuminate the area you are going to use to create your video. The brighter the area, the better the images will be. You can also use lighting effects for added appeal to the presentation.

Should you require sounds for your videoblog, you need a microphone. Record you voice as a voice over for promoting the product and its benefit to consumers. Sounds are just as important as pictures on a video. So make your sound effects as enticing as possible.

You will need a video editor software. You need this to finalize your work. You can add sounds, remove some bad angles, or insert some still photos. Some video editors are user-friendly and can be used with zero knowledge. Even simple video editing programs should do the trick. Select your background carefully. The light affects the presentation so make sure that the background and the light complements each other.

Videoblogging is a great tool but it also has it downside. It may slow down the computer so other may steer clear of it. Download time may also be time consuming especially if customer is still on a dial- up connection.

But don’t let this stop you. Let videoblogging be an alternative for you, still keep the text and pictures present as some viewers of your site may prefer to read about your product.

The more creative you are the more likely you are to succeed. Videoblogging offers an alternative way of promoting your product. You involve the customers. You let them see the advantages of your goods or services. And quite often, this is enough to make a sale. href="http://smartinternetmarketingtips.com">visit my blog

What is a Good Penny Stock

January 6th, 2010

Firstly, What is a Penny Stock?

Stocks termed as penny stocks don’t seem to be essentially stocks which trade for a penny. After all normally penny stocks are termed as stocks that trade for beneath 5 dollars. Stocks that trade from a penny downwards are generally termed as sub-penny stocks.

Trading penny stocks can be extraordinarily risky when you do not grasp what you are doing, even more so than trading traditional stocks as a result of they’ll be abundant more volatile when markets move. For example, a simple press unleash can cause penny stocks to suddenly change price. This will be very dangerous since there will be occasions where a stock price rises which might be only due to a number of speculators buying on the back of data circulated across bulletin boards, causing a sharp value rise. Seeing the price rise, alternative investors jump in and buy additional, inflicting the costs to rise higher and then suddenly, the initial purchasers sell causing the value to reverse. If you buy during these times, you’ll realize yourself holding shares that are price far less than you bought them, at intervals a terribly short period of time.

There are several markets in that you can trade penny stocks. Within the United States, these shares will be traded on the pink sheet markets or on the over the counter (OTC) bulletin market. In Canada there’s the TSE and TSE Venture Exchanges that are used to trade penny stocks. A far safer method to trade penny stocks is to use either the NASDAQ tiny cap market or the American Stock Exchange (AMEX). Using either of these, though still risky, are way safer since the businesses trading must file monetary reports that you’ll be able to examine prior to purchasing stocks. But, the downside of trading stocks through these is that the stocks traded have a minimum demand of a worth of one dollar. Pink sheet stocks don’t require and company reports to be filed and usually you can’t even notice out the share structure therefore by nature can be very risky.

Therefore how do you know a smart penny stock?

A good penny stock would generally be one that meets the subsequent criteria.

1. The share value is but 5 dollars.
2. There’s a Profit Margin of greater than one percent.
3. The company in query has a lot of money then debt.
4. The long run projections for the corporate look realistic and achievable.
5. The shares are traded on either NASDAQ or AMEX.

With just a tiny amount of research, following the higher than criteria, it’s possible to seek out good penny stocks.

There is no best or worst company in that to buy penny stocks, whether you profit or not normally depends on your ability to shop for and sell at the correct time. For instance, you’ll purchase what looks a really unhealthy company, but, their value goes up thanks to a press unharness therefore you make money.

Another terribly vital factor in trading penny stocks is to line yourself some strict money management rules. If you get stocks and they move in the incorrect direction, sell them once they reach x percentage loss. Or, if they’re making a profit, sell when they reach x proportion profit. Do not set your profit goal too so much away as often the value modification can reverse at any moment and finish up in you losing. Conversely, set your stop so much enough away to permit for market movement. By setting a stop too shut, you’ll find that as the market normally moves, you may finish up making a loss additional often than winning.

In summary, trading sensible penny stocks is only speculation and relies on you being able to trade without any emotion and following the principles you set yourself religiously. Conjointly keep in mind that each one of the good penny stocks are usually traded either on NASDAQ or AMEX and you’ll be able to notice reports concerning them on services like Reuters.

Mega Red Packet – The Real Deal Or Just Plain Hype?

May 2nd, 2009

I’ve just signed up for the Video Lounge access at Mega Red Packet and before I forget, I am writing in to tell you this.

Vince Tan, Edmund Loh and Stephen Luc are teaming up to release the Mega Red Packet on 4th May 2009. In case you’ve not heard of these dynamic trio here’s a quick background on them…

Vince Tan is a World Internet Summit speaker and the same man who pulled off the Biggest Firesale event in Year 2008 which broke the 6 figure record in just 3 days and then brought in $170,000 in only 10 days.

If you use Private Label Rights products often for your Internet Business then I suppose Edmund Loh doesn’t need an introduction; he’s the person behind more than 260 Private Label Rights titles under the PLRGold brand. Just late last year, he teamed up with expert video maker Stephen Luc to pull off a product launch called PLRGold: Videos and raked in $100,000 in 10 days too. Collectively, the dynamic trio has made more than a million dollars in sales.

So what is Mega Red Packet all about? (since it’s 3 months after the Chinese New Year)

When I first visited the Mega Red Packet website, it branded itself as a “Recession Show Stopper”. I didn’t think much of it initially since a lot of Internet Marketing opportunist won’t let go any chance to cash in on the latest trend. But I take back what I said when I saw the Video Lounge area.

Vince, Edmund and Stephen have produced and positioned Mega Red Packet to turn the tide for many people who are not only struggling in their pursuit of building an online business but also people who are affected by the current recession period.

Mega Red Packet is focused on this core of success: product + traffic = residual income. This is the closest definition to push button marketing where all the work has been done for Internet Marketers of all levels – whether you are new or seasoned. The Mega Red Packet team has invested nearly $100,000 and 6 months in conceiving this push button program and infrastructure, which gives the user a variety of products to get reseller and Franchise rights to new, original products and sell.

Mega Red Packet is NOT about potential. It’s about empowering the Internet newbie to have his string of proven businesses in the form of Reseller Memberships for you to take full control of, and Franchise rights to proven Internet Businesses so that they can be put into the shoes of these 3 top Internet Marketers. The new Internet Marketer can now leverage off the credibility and proven model that the dynamic trio have discovered over the collective 11 years of marketing experience.

Traffic generation is another topic of great interest to some, and a great struggle to many others. The Mega Red Packet collection solves this more efficient and effectively than anyone, myself included, can ask for.

Vince, Edmund and Stephen are also taking this chance to launch their newest home study course named “Traffic Leopard” – aptly called ‘the next generation of traffic building’ that features a series of proven tactics to drive in traffic to your website, accompanied by a rich archive of case studies as used and experimented relentlessly by all of the 3 top Internet Marketers.

There’s also the Traffic Networks where Vince and Edmund have negiotiated with some of the top traffic building site owners to give generous credits to members of Mega Red Packet.

All in all, there’s more goodies in store in Mega Red Packet that I believe every Internet Marketer must look forward to. It’s ground breaking and non-conventional, not something you know so well of. Literally, all the work is done and I haven’t even talked about the new Private Label Rights products and software they are releasing in the Mega Red Packet event, that lets you do instant One Time Offers, Upsells and even Cross-Sells.

You can take my review with a pinch of salt but I strongly urge you to check out the site now and sign up for the free access to the Video Lounge (worth $297) and get onto their Advanced Notification List. (by the way speaking of that, they are also going to pick randomly 3 different names from the list to give free copies of Mega Red Packet on their launch day – you could be one of them!)

Click on this link and sign up for the Video Lounge and Advanced Notification List access for free now before the big event kick starts on 4th May 2009:

A Very Special Offer To All My Readers.

October 19th, 2008

If you’re at all serious about Internet Marketing then you’ve got to give something back to your subscribers.

It’s no good thinking that there are thousands of people out in internet cyberspace just waiting to find your blog or web site.

‘Cos they’re not!

There are probably thousands of sites online (if not hundreds of thousands) that people can choose to visit, so why should they choose yours? You need to accept that you need a strategy that embraces your subscribers and rewards them for their loyalty, as well as helping to earn you your daily bread.

Yes, it’s about earning money but that’s not the principle reason that you should be marketing. You should be connecting with your readers, empathising and sympathising with them. Remember, we’re all struggling with the same problems – rising prices, low salaries, job insecurity, etc.

If people see that they’re getting value for money and maybe a bit more besides then, human nature being what it is, they’re gonna come back for more.

If you can give your readers a great deal – something that’s real value for money – they’re more likely to bookmark your site and return to it regularly.

And so, in saying that, I’ve got to tell you that the offer that I’ve just put up for all my subscribers is pretty impressive, if I do say so myself.

I’m not going to give too much away here, only to say that if you have any aspirations to be an Internet Marketer then you’re not going to want to miss it.

Sign up to my newsletter now and if my offer doesn’t push your buttons then you can just as easily unsubscribe. And as I’m with Aweber then you know that when you unsubscribe, then that’s what happens.

But as a regular subscriber you should know that I intend to share as many goodies with you as I can. I want to build a strong relationship with all of you, not just today or tomorrow but for all the tomorrows after that. I’m here for the long haul and I hope you are too.

The sights that you see on the road….

August 12th, 2008

Today, while driving home, I saw a sight that made me chuckle. The car in front of me had something on the roof. A door or a shallow chest of some kind.Only it wasn’t strapped on. There was, however, a big, hairy arm sticking out of each of the front and rear windows, all holding onto a corner of whatever-it-was they were carrying.

Although I found the sight amusing I couldn’t help but think that, safety aside, they were risking losing whatever-it-was they were carrying for the sake of not using the right equipment, or even securing it safely.

Internet marketing’s a bit like that. If you don’t use the right tools you’ll make life a lot harder for yourself. One such tool that I use and find invaluable is the Aweber Autoresponder. There are other autoresponders out there but this is the Rolls Royce of them. It’s no dearer than their competitors but the quality of their service is fantastic. Check it out here and you’ll see what I mean.

You can never start building your list too early so you may as well start with the best available tools that you can.

Information overload or what?

August 9th, 2008

Hi all,

Following on from my last post I’m sure you’ve noticed how much we’re all suffering from information overload which in turn leads to a lack of direction and a marked lack of action.

We spend so much time trying to assimilate the barrage of information coming at us down the superhighway that we end up not knowing our Firefox from our Explorer and not knowing what to believe and which direction to take. A sort of information paralysis takes us over. At least, I know that’s what happens to me!

One tendency that is on the increase is the amount of bonuses we’re offered in order to get us to buy a product. Now I know that we all like a freebie but – come on – do we really need all the extras that are thrown at us? Let’s face it, most of it we wouldn’t look at  twice if it wasn’t free and we’d certainly not pay good, hard cash for it.

I for one would rather see good, high quality content, selling on its own merit but sadly I fear that I’m very unlikely to see this happen.

Or am I sensing a change in some marketer’s attitudes? I hope so for the sake of my hard drive. It’s getting awfully cluttered with cr*p these days. S’pose that means a spring clean is in order.Hey ho, it’s a hard life.

Procrastination – easy for you to say!

August 2nd, 2008

Here we are at week 4 already. Although I’ve only posted a couple of blogs I’m feeling that old curse known as “Writer’s block” already. So I reckon that the best approach is just to sit down at my computer (is that an old-fashioned term, now?) and get on with it.

I’ve always believed that the best way to learn something is by practice. That is, get in there and get your hands dirty. Internet marketing is no different.

For example, I spent ages procrastinating about building a website. I didn’t know what html meant, I wasn’t sure that it would look any good, I didn’t know how to upload my site to a server….. and so on and so forth. Talk about dodging the issue.

I bought a couple of turn-key sites which as you can imagine were absolute junk. I invested in several ebooks and a course or two and eventually put a site of my own together. It wasn’t very pretty but it was my site, and boy! was I proud of it.

I showed it to my friends and family and they were totally underwhelmed. I just put it down to jealousy.

But then it dawned on me. I had this rather cosmetically-challenged site but unless I actually told people about it nobody knew it was there.

So although I’d finally got off my butt and done something, I hadn’t concentrated on the whole picture. I now had to learn about lots more scary stuff like Search Engine Optimisation and Adsense and so on. Which is when I realised that I needed a mentor. And not just any old mentor but someone I trusted.

Now, I’ve got a website online which sells ebooks and this was created by John Thornhill. As a member of the planetsms forum (planetsms is John’s eBay identity) and my association with John I soon realised that here was a very genuine guy, so when I saw that he was offering an internet marketing teaching course I was very interested, to say the least.

Once again procrastination got the better of me and I was too late to enrol in his first course but I put my name down to be notified as to when the next course would begin and sat at my PC as sign-up day dawned, both index fingers poised and ready to pound those keys and sign up as soon as I could.

As yet I am unsure as to which direction my efforts will be taking me but you can be sure that I’ve learned a valuable lesson. Do your due diligence first and then get in there and just do it. Nobody says it has to be perfect first time out of the stable but unless you get your act in gear your baby (sorry!- your project) is never even going to see the light of day.

Today still hasn’t been my best IM day but it’s been a lot better….

July 24th, 2008

I’m sure you’ll all be glad to know that today has indeed been a much better IM day.

Today I’ve learnt how to change my blog theme, how to set up an autoresponder account with aweber (which actually works, would you believe!) and how to get and add Adsense code to my blog.

Before I know it I’ll be a proper Internet Marketer. (Thanks to John and Daniel).

Although these things have always seemed very daunting to me, it’s surprising how straightforward they become when the process is properly explained. A bit like learning to drive a car for the first time, I suppose. There seems to be so much to learn and remember when you start. Clutch control, steering, lane control, how hard to brake, what’s this gear lever thingy for?, etc, etc. But once you’ve passed your driving test and have a bit of experience under your belt, I bet you’ll wonder what you were worried about. In fact, you won’t even think about it – you’ll just do it on auto piklot (sorry, I mean auto pilot! Told you I was a cr*p typist, didn’t I?).

Anyway, I suppose what I’m trying to say in my round-about way is not to get too hung up on the technical side of things as there is always someone who can show you how to do things. It may take a small investment of time and/or money but believe me it’s well worth it from where I’m standing.

And remember, you don’t have to know everything before you start. The main thing is just to start. The rest will come. And if your initial efforts are not exactly up to the standard that you expect, don’t beat yourself up about it. You will improve. But if you never even start then you’ve got no chance at all.

On a rather different note, I’ve got to tell you that my wife has just told me that she’s going to cut some parsley from her herb garden. I rather foolishly pointed out that the “garden” was actually one those boxes with parsley, mint and rosemary growing in it and the word HERBS stenciled on the side but she refused to be convinced and tells me that she is going to continue referring to it as her herb garden, regardless of what I say. Now that’s real go-getting optimism!
